Presco-Mec Group is an IATF 16949:2016 certified engine components manufacturer in India, supplying precision sheet-metal brackets, covers, sump parts and welded sub-assemblies to automotive OEMs and Tier-1 companies. With 38+ years of manufacturing experience, 200+ team members and two manufacturing units in Faridabad, Haryana, we build the structural and protective components around the engine, from drawing review through to dispatch.
If your team is scoping a new engine platform, comparing manufacturing routes or preparing an RFQ, this page sets out what we make, how we make it and what to send us. For our complete range, see our engine parts manufacturer and supplier page.
Share your drawings and requirements with our engineering team for a feasibility review.
Send Your RFQWe manufacture stamped, formed and welded engine components in-house, including:
These components ship into two-wheeler, passenger vehicle, commercial vehicle, tractor and off-highway programs. Where an engine part is one element of a larger build, we can supply it as a finished assembly rather than as loose pieces.
Brackets, covers, sump pans and heat shields are structural or protective parts rather than the main load-bearing elements of an engine, which makes them well suited to stamping and forming from steel coil. At medium-to-high volumes, sheet metal typically means lower tooling investment, less weight than a cast equivalent and the option to combine several functions in one welded sub-assembly. Our article on the precision sheet-metal manufacturing process covers the trade-offs in more detail.
Every stage from tooling to inspection is controlled within our own facilities:
Our step-by-step guide to the engine parts manufacturing process shows how these stages fit together.
Our manufacturing operations are certified to internationally recognised automotive and quality standards.

Engine components mount directly to the block, powertrain or chassis, so small dimensional deviations show up as fitment problems and premature wear. We manage that risk through certified quality systems, controlled processes and CMM verification against your drawing. Procurement teams can review our certificates on the Quality Profile page and confirm our registration through D&B before onboarding. Our guide to choosing an engine parts manufacturer lists the questions worth asking any supplier.

Yes. Our process starts with drawing review and feasibility, followed by in-house tooling development, press forming, welding, surface treatment and CMM inspection. Share your drawing and requirements, and our engineering team will respond with a feasibility assessment.
Send part drawings or 3D models, material grade and thickness, annual volumes, coating requirement, tolerance-critical dimensions, delivery location and target dates. The more complete the package, the faster and more specific our feasibility response.
Yes, both. Robotic and MIG welding cells join stamped components into welded sub-assemblies, and we can supply finished assemblies where that suits your line, instead of loose components.
Components are verified on Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) against the drawing before dispatch. Tolerance requirements are specific to each drawing, so please flag critical dimensions when you send your enquiry.
Yes. Presco-Mec Group also manufactures brake parts, chassis and cabin parts, two-wheeler, tractor and off-highway parts and assemblies, so procurement teams can consolidate several commodities with one audited vendor.
Our IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certificates are shown on our Quality Profile page. We are also D&B D-U-N-S registered (65-006-5357), and our customer list and manufacturing locations are published on the website.
Yes. We work as a development partner for new engine platforms and as a dependable supplier for ongoing series production.
