Mounting Structure Components We Manufacture

Our press shop and weld shop produce steel components for fixed-tilt, seasonal-tilt and tracker-type structures, made to EPC or structure-supplier drawings:

  • Base plates, pile-cap and foundation brackets
  • Rafter-to-column and purlin connectors, cleats and splice plates
  • Module clamps and rail brackets
  • Bracing brackets, stiffeners and gusset plates
  • Rooftop mounting brackets and stands for RCC and metal-sheet roofs
  • Tracker and adjustable-tilt brackets
  • Welded mounting sub-assemblies delivered ready to bolt up
  • Custom components made to customer drawings

Long structural members such as purlins, rafters and columns are usually roll-formed or cut from standard sections. Send us the complete bill of materials and we will confirm which items fall within our manufacturing scope, so there are no surprises at the quotation stage.

Built for Wind, Sun and Decades Outdoors

A mounting structure stands in the open for the life of the plant, through wind load, daily thermal cycling, monsoon rain and, on many sites, dust or coastal salt. Failures show up in two ways: holes that do not line up during installation, and corrosion that starts at a weld or a cut edge years later. Our process is built around both risks: tooling reviewed against the drawing before production, controlled press operations for consistent hole positions, welds made in repeatable cells, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) checks of critical dimensions before dispatch.

Structural design, including wind-load calculation to the applicable Indian standard, stays with the EPC or structure designer. We manufacture to the approved drawing and flag anything that would make a part difficult to produce consistently.

Coating to Your Specification

Corrosion protection is specified project by project. Our in-house PTCED (cathode electro-deposition) line and conveyorised powder-coating line serve components where the drawing calls for these finishes. Many Indian solar projects specify hot-dip galvanising to IS 4759 or pre-galvanised material instead. Share your coating specification with the drawing and our team will confirm how it will be met before we quote.

A Quality-Focused Supplier for Solar Projects

Solar projects run to fixed commissioning dates, and a single lot of brackets with drifting hole positions can hold up an entire installation crew. We apply the same process control and traceability that governs our automotive supply, from raw material through press, weld, coating and inspection, so lots stay consistent across the project.

  • Consistent dimensions and hole positions across large project quantities
  • Traceability from raw material through press, weld and coating
  • Production scheduled against your project milestones
  • Certified quality management systems, open to vendor audit

Our In-House Process: From Drawing to Dispatch

  • Drawing Review: Check each component and the bill of materials for manufacturability.
  • Tooling: Design and develop production tooling using SolidWorks and CAD/CAM, in coordination with your engineering team (see tool design and development).
  • Press: Blank, pierce and form components through controlled press operations.
  • Weld: MIG, spot, projection or robotic welding, as the joint requires.
  • Surface Treatment: PTCED or powder coating in-house, or the finish specified on the drawing.
  • CMM Inspection: Verify critical dimensions and hole positions before release.

Projects and Buyers We Support

We supply components for rooftop commercial and industrial installations, ground-mount plants and utility-scale solar parks. Our customers in this segment are solar EPC contractors, mounting structure suppliers who outsource pressed and welded items, module manufacturers and renewable energy OEMs. The same audited process chain produces welded sub-assemblies and pressed parts for our automotive customers, so the controls behind your brackets are already proven at automotive volumes.

What to Include in Your Mounting Structure RFQ

To assess feasibility and prepare an accurate quotation, share as much of the following as is available:

  • Drawings and bill of materials: 2D drawings or 3D models, the structure layout, and the component list with quantity per table or per structure.
  • Material: steel grade and thickness as per your specification.
  • Coating: hot-dip galvanising thickness, pre-galvanised material, PTCED or powder coating, as specified.
  • Critical dimensions: hole positions, tolerances and fitment interfaces with rails, modules and foundations.
  • Quantities: total project volume, megawatt capacity and any phasing of deliveries.
  • Quality requirements: inspection plan, test certificates and any third-party inspection the project requires.
  • Delivery: project location, target dates and packing or marking requirements.

FAQ

We manufacture pressed and welded steel components such as base plates, pile-cap and foundation brackets, purlin and rafter connectors, splice plates, module clamps, bracing brackets, rooftop brackets and tracker brackets, as well as welded mounting sub-assemblies. Send the full bill of materials and we will confirm which items fall within our scope.

No. Structural design and wind-load calculation stay with the EPC or structure designer. We manufacture to the approved drawing and review each component for manufacturability before tooling starts.

Our hot-dip galvanising requirements are confirmed against the applicable project specification, including the required standard and zinc coating thickness. Please share your project requirements so our team can confirm compliance and the available inspection documentation.

Our in-house lines provide PTCED (cathode electro-deposition) and conveyorised powder coating. The finish for each component is taken from your drawing and coating specification, as decided by the structure designer for the site conditions.

Tooling is reviewed against the drawing before production, components are formed and pierced through controlled press operations, and critical dimensions and hole positions are verified on Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) before dispatch.

Yes. We supply solar EPC contractors, mounting structure suppliers who outsource pressed and welded components, module manufacturers and renewable energy OEMs, always against the customer's own drawings.

Yes. We design and develop production tooling in coordination with your engineering team and take a new bracket from first samples and dimensional validation through to series production.

Our IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certificates are shown on our Quality Profile page. We are also D&B D-U-N-S registered (65-006-5357), and our customer list and manufacturing locations are published on the website.

Send your drawings, bill of materials, coating specification, project quantities and target dates through our Business Enquiry page or to info@prescomecgroup.com. Our engineering team will come back with a feasibility response.
